Updated August 11, 2024: On or about August 15, 2024 (note the postponement from the originally proposed July 29 date), Mercer County Department of Transportation will begin construction on the replacement of its bridge over Beden’s Brook on Carter Road/Princeton Ave. in Hopewell Township just south of Hopewell Borough. The work will take approximately 270 days to complete and the previously announced 3-day periods of full detours near the start and end of the project have been eliminated and the road remain open throughout construction with alternating traffic control.
