Hopewell Borough’s fiscal year goes from July 1 to June 30 with a budget developed by the town’s staff with input from the Borough’s Finance Committee, before being approved by the full Council each year at a public hearing. The Finance Office is responsible for the preparation and oversight of the municipal budget, bi-weekly bill list, payroll and investing functions of the Borough and is lead by the Borough’s Chief Financial Officer.
