As required by the recently enacted New Jersey Public Law 2021 Chapter 183, the Hopewell Borough Water Department has prepared the letter to residents and fact sheet linked below to let the community know about our ongoing program to remove lead service lines from our public water distribution system. The program is being implemented in accordance with recent regulatory changes in New Jersey. There has been no change in the quality of our drinking water, and lead testing results for water samples collected from our water system consistently meet state and federal drinking water standards. As always, we are committed to providing safe, high quality drinking water to our community.
