The Hopewell Borough Planning board meets on the first Wednesday of each month and acts as a combined land use board, serving both as the town’s zoning board of adjustment and exercises its planning functions. In addition to hearing subdivision and land use applications, the board is tasked with maintaining the municipality’s master plan and acts on recommendations from the historic preservation commission. Links to frequently used forms, minutes and agenda can be found below, or at the Borough’s forms/applications and agenda/minutes pages. Documents for pending applications may be found by scrolling further down this page, or by reviewing them in person at Borough Hall.

Looking to join the next planning board meeting? The “sunshine” notice and agenda with information on how to attend the next meeting can be found here. The Planning Board meetings in person at Borough hall, generally on the first Wednesday of each month. Starting with the February 2024 meeting, members of the public may also view board meetings remotely using the zoom platform – information on how to log in can be found here. Please note that while the meetings may be viewed online, participation through questions, statements or other comments requires attending the meeting in person at this time.
