Hopewell Borough Water System Has Levels of Perfluorooctanesulfonic Acid (PFOS) Above a Drinking Water Standard
On July 7, 2022, the Hopewell Borough Water Department received a “Notice of Non-Compliance” from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) due to an exceedance of the drinking water standard for Perfluorooctanesulfonic Acid (PFOS) in our water system. The notices and updates below areto inform you, as our customer, of what happened, what you should do, and what we are doing to correct this situation.
