On the heels of the safety-inspired speed limit reduction to 25 mph for the entire length of Broad Street, Hopewell Borough has been working with the Greater Mercer TMA on outreach and education related materials to help spread the word about the importance of pedestrian and bicycle safety. Look for additional information, signage and “street smart” coffee sleeves across town starting this week, and be sure to catch members of council and Hopewell Borough’s Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Advisory Committee in front of Sourland Cycles this Friday, 5/10, for Cruise Night! Volunteers will be handing out safety information and we look forward to hearing your concerns about pedestrian and bike safety here in the borough! Special thanks to the Greater Mercer TMA and our local businesses for their help with the education programs!
