Below is an overview of what’s happening this upcoming week in Hopewell Borough:
Trash Pickup – Tuesday May 12th
Tuesday is the regular trash pickup in the Borough. Please remember that trash containers should be covered and watertight to prevent mixing of rain/stormwater and placed at the curb between 3PM on Monday and 7AM Tuesday for pickup.
Mayor’s Office Hours – Wednesday May 13th (1PM)
Looking for another way to connect with our town? Generally held every other Wednesday afternoon at 1PM and every second Saturday morning of the month at 9AM, Borough Hall is open for drop in discussions with Mayor Kennedy. No appointments necessary. Any changes to the schedule will be posted to the Borough website.
Capital Project/Surplus Outreach and Listening Session – Wednesday May 13 (6PM)
The Borough will be holding a series of information outreach and listening sessions over the course of the next several months to collect input and ideas on upcoming capital projects and use of future expected surplus funds resulting from the sale of the water system. The first meeting will be at Borough Hall on Wednesday May 13, 2026 at 6PM and will provide an opportunity for community members to briefly see the list of projects that the Borough has been tracking for possible future implementation and to provide feedback and input as to where Council should prioritize funding. The meetings will be informal, and will be held at a verity of times and locations. Information on how to provide feedback electronically will be provided shortly.
Cruise Night – Friday May 15th (5-8PM)
The residents, businesses and restaurants of Hopewell and the Hopewell Borough Recreation Committee invite you to join the Borough Community for Cruise Night, on Friday May 15, 2026 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Live music, games, delicious food, shopping, classic cars and lots of fun will line East and West Broad Street. Come see what downtown Hopewell Borough has to offer!
