Wishing Chag Pesach Sameach (Happy Passover) and Happy Easter this week to all those who celebrate! Below is an overview of what’s happening this upcoming week in Hopewell Borough:
Trash Pickup – Tuesday March 31st
Tuesday is the regular trash pickup in the Borough. Please remember that trash containers should be covered and watertight to prevent mixing of rain/stormwater and placed at the curb between 3PM on Monday and 7AM Tuesday for pickup.
No Mayor’s Office Hours This Week
Due to the HVRSD spring break, there will be no Mayor’s office hours this week. The next Wednesday office hours at Borough Hall will be Wednesday April 13th, and Saturday coffee April 18th.
Looking for another way to connect with our town? Generally held every other Wednesday afternoon at 1PM and every second Saturday morning of the month at 9AM, Borough Hall is open for drop in discussions with Mayor Kennedy. No appointments necessary. Any changes to the schedule will be posted to the Borough website.
No Planning Board Meeting this Week
While usually held on the first Wednesday of each month, the April meeting was scheduled for the 15th due to the HVRSD spring break and Passover. Chag Pesach Sameach and happy Passover for all those who celebrate! The next Planning Board meeting will be on Wednesday April 15th at 7PM and will be located at the Hopewell Elementary School for the continuation of the public hearing on the Hopewell 57 site plan application. No Borough Council Meeting this Week
While usually held on the first Thursday of each month, the April meeting has been scheduled for Monday April 6th due to the HVRSD spring break and Passover. The agenda will be posted to the Borough website later in the week, closer to the meeting date.
Borough Hall Closed – Friday April 3rd
In observance of the State Holiday for Good Friday, Borough Hall will be closed for regular business on Friday April 3rd. Happy Easter to all who celebrate! Reminder that while Borough Hall is closed, if you encounter an emergency situation involving our water or sewer systems or other issues that involve our public works department, please report the issue to the Hopewell Township Police Department dispatch at 609.737.3100. HTPD has direct contact information for our department of public words team, depending on the type of issue.
