2/22/26 6:45PM update: Due to the severity of the storm and continued state of emergency, Borough Hall will be closed for regular in person business on Monday February 23. There are currently no announced changes to the Tuesday trash/recycling pickup, but information will be updated as the storm clears and delays are anticipated. Hopewell Valley Regional Schools are also closed on Monday.
Reminder that all water, sewer or other public works emergencies should be reported through Hopewell Township Police dispatch by calling 609-737-3100. All power outages should be reported to PSE&G by texting OUT to 4PSEG (47734), their website at pseg.com/myaccount, or calling PSE&G at 1-800-436-PSEG (7734). With the winter storm upon us, please join in thanking our Department of Public Works team for working throughout on our roads, along with their counterparts at Mercer County DOT who are responsible for our County roads (Broad Street, Route 518 and Princeton Avenue). Thank you to everyone who has helped ensure there are no cars parked on our streets as it is essential that cars be removed from snow covered roads to allow them to do their work. Overnight snow emergency parking is available at Borough Hall and the train station – but parking is otherwise prohibited on all Borough Roads when snow covered and will be enforced, along with applicable snow clearing requirements.
