Due to the impacts from Hurricane Ida, Mercer County Director of Transportation and Infrastructure Aaron Watson has ordered road closures at the below locations in and around the Hopewell Borough area:
CR654 near golf course and to Rt. 31 Road OPENED as of Friday 9/9/21!
Van Dyke Road (bridge)
Bayberry Road (bridge)
As significant damage was incurred, there is an expectation that these areas will be closed for some time. If we learn more regarding timeframes to re-open, we will update this message.
There are additional closures around the valley that are in various stages of restoration/reopening now and in the short term. We appreciate the patience of all as crews work to restore order. Updated 3:49 9/9/21
