May 13, 2025. During the coming weeks, PSE&G will be performing utility pole inspections throughout the Borough. Their vendor, Grid One, will hand dig down around the base of the pole to inspect the condition of the pole. They typically place a wrap around the base of the pole before backfilling.
No road closure or traffic control is required for this work, as a result a firm work schedule is not available.
If a pole is found to be in poor condition, Grid One will flag the pole and PSE&G will then schedule its replacement.
