New Jersey American Water will be working this evening (Monday September 14th) to flush the water main near the intersection of West Broad Street and Route 518/Louellen Street. This work will start around 7PM and is planned to continue to 12 midnight. The work is timed for when there is less traffic and a formal detour may not be necessary.
This work may result in brief changes in water pressure, with the possibility of discoloration or cloudy water when the main is flushed – and any discoloration can be remedied by running the cold water for a few moments until it clears up.
