April 16, 2025: On Monday, April 21, 2025, weather permitting, Lancha Construction Corp., working on behalf of the Borough, will begin the Hart Avenue construction project.
The project consists of the installation of new block curbing, replacement of existing driveway aprons, repairs/upgrades to the stormwater system, resetting of sanitary sewer maintenance holes, and the milling and paving of the entire length of Hart Avenue.
Crews will mobilize M-F 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
We expect this work to be completed in 10-12 weeks. Please be reminded this work is weather dependent, adverse weather will cause delays.
Please exercise caution and follow the directions of the construction crew/flaggers when traveling on Hart Avenue. There will be periods when sections of roadway will be closed to through traffic. Access to your property will be available via Louellen or N. Greenwood.
Trash and Recycling vehicles will be permitted to access the roadway as currently scheduled.
Lancha Construction Corp. will continue to provide updates as we move through this project which we will post on the Borough’s website.
