Hart Avenue Construction Update

Hart Avenue Milling and Paving (from Louellen Street to N Greenwood Avenue)

Please be advised that on Monday, June 30,2025, weather permitting, a contractor, S. Brothers, Inc, working on behalf of the Borough, will begin the milling and paving of the Hart Avenue roadway.

Work hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Milling will be completed in 1 day followed by Paving which will be completed in 2 phases and will take 2 days. The Milling and Paving work will take approximately 3 working days to complete.

Milling (1 Day)– Vehicles are not to be parked on Hart Avenue (from Louellen Street to N Greenwood Avenue) during the milling process, Monday, June 30, 2025 7:00AM -5:00PM 

Hart Ave. will be open to local traffic during milling, please limit your trips and do expect delays. Heavy equipment and the contractor’s personnel will be on Hart Avenue. Please exercise caution

Paving (2 Days) If you plan to leave your residence during the paving process, please have your vehicle out of your driveway prior to 7:00 AM. Please Park your vehicle on a nearby street or designated parking area,

During day 1 of the paving, we request residents of Hart Avenue (John Hart Farm to N. Greenwood Avenue), Newell Place and Pierson Place, to park on Model Avenue or Golden Avenue, or Borough Street of your choice.

Parking will be permitted on day 2 of paving on the completed section of Hart Ave., thought to be N. Greenwood Avenue to John Hart Farm. Please do not park in the designated No Parking Areas.

For everyone’s safety, we urge you to use caution when driving in the work zones and to be aware of the construction equipment and personnel operating on the roadways.                   Please allow for extra travel time during construction.
