Hopewell Borough, a Mercer County municipality with a population of 1922, an approximately $4 million budget and water utility, seeks a full-time experienced & hands-on administrator to direct the day-to-day operations of the Borough. Senior managerial experience, strong analytical and superior communication skills (oral and written) required. Must be able to effectively manage and meet multiple deadlines, manage large/small projects, seek/manage grants, manage shared services agreement, oversee all departments, and interface effectively with governing body, residents, professionals, volunteers and business owners. The candidate must demonstrate extensive knowledge of core municipal issues and subject matter including finance/budgeting, capital improvement planning, purchasing, land use, human resources, insurance management, and experience in current issues affecting local government in NJ. QPA certification is desired, or candidate must be willing to obtain. Minimum 3-5 years supervisory experience. BA/BS in public administration or a related field. An equivalent combination of training and experience which provides comparable qualifications may be considered.
