Join with friends and neighbors in honoring Womanspace’s Communities of Light on Monday, December 5th. The annual luminary lighting raises awareness and funding for Womanspace, a leading NJ non-profit which provides a comprehensive array of services to those affected by domestic and sexual violence. Kits can be purchased for a $10 donation to Womanspace, and are available locally at dandelion wishes (45 W Broad St) and Pennington Quality Market. Luminaries should be lit at dusk on December 5.

The community will be gathering for a vigil with a speaker from Womanspace at 6PM at the Old School Baptist Meeting House at 46 W Broad St. Following the vigil, the Hopewell Presbyterian Church has invited the community to their tree lighting for a time of community reflection. Please see flyer for more info.

As it is also trash/recycling pickup the next day, please refrain from putting your trash out early that evening if possible. This is a community event hosted by volunteers in Hopewell Borough and beyond, which was the subject of a Hopewell Borough proclamation adopted at the November 3, 2022 Borough Council meeting.
