No, you’re not seeing things! As part of the transition to the Borough’s new website, you may have noticed updated email addresses and a new domain name for Hopewell Borough this week. Don’t worry, the existing email addresses for everyone at Borough Hall will continue to work for the foreseeable future. Going forward, you’ll see updated addresses in the format: first initial followed by last name, using the simpler hopewellboroughnj.gov domain. Gone is the confusing “dash” and “dot.us” address, in favor of the more commonly used “.gov” top level domain.
The Borough’s website at this time remains at the www.hopewellboro-nj.us address and information on the new revamped website will be posted soon (along with the new address)… but like the email addresses, the existing URL and domain name that you’re used to will continue to work, even once the new site is running.
