NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
HOPEWELL BOROUGH FIRE DISTRICT NO. 1
The Board of Fire Commissioners of Hopewell Borough Fire District No. 1, Mercer County, NJ will conduct a public hearing on the district’s proposed 2026 capital purchases at its meeting on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 7:00 pm both in person at 4 Columbia Ave, 2nd floor, Hopewell, NJ 08525 and virtually via Google Meet. The login ID can be found on the website www.hopewellfire.com/commissioners. At the conclusion of the hearing the Board will formally act to vote on the resolution. A copy of the resolution is available for review at www.hopewellfire.com/commissioners. A copy may also be obtained during the week prior to the hearing by calling (609) 577-5050.

Shall the Board of Commissioners of Fire District No. 1 in the Borough of Hopewell in the County of Mercer, State of New Jersey be authorized to purchase a Ambulance (in an amount not to exceed $380,000) and enter into lease purchase financing or issue bonds and bond anticipation notes to fund such capital project?
INTERPRETIVE STATEMENT
A YES vote will authorize the Board of Fire Commissioners to purchase an Ambulance to replace a 1998 ambulance, to be used by Hopewell Fire Department Emergency Medical Unit.
A NO vote would mean that no apparatus would be purchased.
