Storm Warning

Hopewell residents – we are monitoring the storm event targeting our area.  There is a potential for flash flooding and strong winds.  At this time, our storm drains are clear but they may not stay that way in high winds with all the leaves coming down.  Please help us by not raking leaves near the catch basins.  And now, always, and forever, please do NOT rake leaves into the street.  Leaves should be raked into the area between the sidewalk and the curb.  If you hire a service for leaves, please pass this message along to them.  Thank you for your cooperation.
