Lost or misplaced your tax bill? Look up tax information using your block and lot number or property location
Added/Omitted tax bills will be mailed in October 2018. The 4th 1/4 payment will be due November 1, 2018. This bill is for new construction and improvements to existing homes.
If you received an added/omitted bill you must pay it in addition to the annual bill that was mailed in July. You must continue to add the bills together for the February and May 2019 quarters.
Property Tax Reimbursement (Senior Freeze) Program – deadline is now always October 31st.

The Tax Collector is charged by statute with collecting funds needed to support the Hopewell Valley Regional School District, the Borough of Hopewell Fire Department, and the local government. Tax bills are generally mailed in July, and the first payment is due on August 1, unless otherwise specified. Collection due dates are February 1st, May 1st, August 1st, and November 1st. However, there is a ten-day grace period for payment. Tax payments may be:
* Dropped in the mail drop box located by the back doors of the Municipal Building, 88 East Broad Street. Payments dropped in the box after the close of Borough office hours on the 10th of the month when due will be considered late and assessed a late charge accordingly.
* Delivered in person to the tax collector’s office at Borough Hall between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, or
* Mailed to the Borough of Hopewell, 88 East Broad Street, Hopewell, NJ 08525
* Paid by credit card online at our website: www.hopewellboro-nj.us
