Hopewell Township Police Chief George Meyer reports that police have created a "Tip Line" to allow citizens to anonymously report information or tips that may help the police.

"It is a well-established fact that the police need private citizens to be additional eyes and ears for them.  Police would much prefer to have a caller's name and phone number, but often people have information yet are reluctant to get involved.  The Tip Line will enable those people to easily pass their information on to police while remaining totally anonymous.  To access the Tip Line dial 737-3100 and press 4 when the recording comes on," Chief Meyer said.
